Young people from Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Priboj, Prijepolje, Tutin and Nova Varoš had the opportunity to gain knowledge about the importance of local mechanisms for gender equality and the role of women's council networks, as well as to get acquainted with the activities of the Swiss PRO program aimed at improving the position of women. in the local community and increasing the participation of women in the decision-making process.
 
The professional development program within local self-government is part of the project "Introducing citizens to the work and competencies of local self-government" which the OSCE Mission to Serbia is implementing with the support of the Government of Switzerland. In addition to acquiring knowledge in the field of good governance and public administration through practical work in local governments, participants during the five-month training also attend numerous trainings.
