Ninety six towns and municipalities from the regions of Šumadija, Western Serbia and Southern and Eastern Serbia[1] are eligible to participate in the public call that will close on 19 August 2019. They can apply with project proposals for procurement of € 7,000 to 9,000 IT equipment and licensed software, and also state which form of technical support they will need to improve eGovernment.

In line with the national framework, Swiss PRO Programme will offer tailor-made technical support to LSGs so that they can develop or enhance their internal processes and procedures, enhance the implementation of the electronic administrative procedure (eZUP), develop existing or new eServices and deliver solutions for local government’s websites.

The Programme will particularly encourage LSGs to include activities in project proposals aiming to develop and improve eServices for ethnic minorities and introduce assistance technologies to increase access of persons with disabilities to these services. Also, this is an opportunity for LSGs to enable their citizens to actively participate in the decision making process in their communities through developing eParticipation and eHearing websites.

The Swiss PRO Programme will organise eight info sessions from 11 to 22 July 2019 to familiarise interested LSGs with the details of the public call - including ways to apply and participate, as well as criteria for the selection of projects according to the following schedule:

• Niš, Wednesday 17 July, 2 Sedmog jula St, Niš City Hall Lobby, 12.30PM.
• Bujanovac, Thursday 18 July, 115 Karađorđa Petrovića St, Bujanovac Municipal Assembly Hall, 12.30PM.
• Šabac, Friday 19 July, 6 Gospodar Jevremova St, Hall of the Šabac Town Administration Building, 12.30PM.
• Kragujevac, Monday 22 July, 4 Topolivaca Sq, Kragujevac Business Innovation Centre, 12.30PM.
